When I saw that @erim on Instagram had released a hair oil I was really eager to try it as I had seen some pretty amazing reviews. The oil was launched in December 2019 and after missing out on a few rounds of the restocks I finally managed to get my hands on it in April 2020.
So first I want to talk about the packaging, the bottle is a sleek black bottle with the By Erim sticker, which has a luxury feel to it. Whilst many oils come in a dropper bottle with a pipette this comes with a pump instead, which definitely adds to the luxury feel.
The oil is vegan-friendly, cruelty-free and unisex. It is made of 8 pure oils including amla oil, argan oil, castor oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil and essential oils. It is unisex and versatile enough for use on beards too. Personally, I really like to scent that comes from the essential oils and I believe that applying this oil at night does result in a good night sleep
There are many reviews that saying the oil is not oily and you can’t tell when you have the oil in your hair, this is true if you only use 1-2 pumps. If you want to use the hair oil to give yourself a full head massage you will use more oil which will look more noticeable, however, the formula is not sicky at all.
Using the oil consistently does bring great results. I have noticed faster hair growth since I started using this and my hair feels a lot softer and healthier. It’s also great to use as a serum after styling.

I have to say that this is the only hair oil that completely washes out in one wash, which is something I’ve never experienced before.
The oil retails for £40 for 100ml and £25 for the 50ml bottle. I've only used the 100ml bottle and it lasted around 6 months.
This has become my go-to oil. If you are looking for a good hair oil, then this is the oil to get.
